We will have resources available online through Lifeloop and you could take advantage of a one-one session with our team if you miss a session. The same Adulting 101 topic for the month will also be addressed during both sessions to build on previous skills. If you miss a session, there are also a lot of activities happening in the broader community, and you’ll be able to see them through Lifeloop without having to do extensive research or visit multiple websites.

Supportive peers are individuals who help provide support during programming and activities. This role is all about being a supportive friend to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by encouraging independence, participation in programs, and conversational reciprocity. They also focus on meeting individuals where they are and provide kind reminders & redirections when applicable. They are not a direct support professional. Their participation is voluntary and intended to foster social connection and promote well-being.
-
Two adulting 101 sessions, one social engagement opportunity, and weekly one-on-one opportunities. Our cadenced Programs are subject to change depending on holidays, illness, emergencies, staffing issues, or lack of registration.
We also research and aggregate daily events happening out in the broader community which you can see in “Community Events” Calendar Tab on Lifeloop. While these programs and events are not sponsored or provided by EmpowerMe Living, we want to ensure program participants can conveniently access more choices.

We do not take Medicaid Waiver funding for EMLplus.
