Luke is an energetic four-year-old who loves his family, school, horseback riding, sports and Baby Shark (which we hope he grows out of). He is determined, resilient, and loving - overcoming obstacles like frequent hospitalizations with an appreciation for living in the present. Somewhere along the way we’ve forgotten qualities like these have tremendous value. We are now scrambling to get them back - just look at the staggering size of the fitness and wellness industry, the mindfulness apps, the gratitude practices...this is great but in our quest we’ve been too busy to look at people right in front of us who can show us the way, without having to download another app or pay for another subscription. We are temporary stewards of his beautiful life - helping him live to the fullest and hone his gifts. When he grows up, we don’t want where he wants to live to be another obstacle.
